Informed Consent
At Cancer Screening UK, we believe that cancer screening can help you to understand various potential risks early enough to take preventive action if necessary.

We believe it is important to explain the context of your results and that is why we wait until all readings are compiled and analysed before sending you a comprehensive results report.  No screening can ever be completely 100% perfect.  That’s why, when having a cancer screening, it is important to remember that a high level in any given test does not always mean that you have a particular health problem – but that further investigation may be required.  This is normally via your GP who will have access to all your health history.  There may be potential for some anxiety if your results are raised, and that is why our reports aim to make it clear what any test relates to.  Conversely, a low reading in any given test does not mean that you will never have a particular disease.  That’s why we also aim to support clients with information about proactive steps they can take to keep in good health.

We look forward to seeing you” and trust that you will find everything to be to your satisfaction and the results report to be helpful.  If there is anything we can assist you with today, or if you require any further information about a particular cancer screening package, please ask a member of the team – we are always pleased to help.
